It's Time
You threw yourself at your last shot,
You fell down and bled;
Your head still up, your eyes under spell;
But your ball never touched the net.
The voices, the words,
Laughs without subtitles;
Their greedy note,
And the bravery they sung about,
Blocked by the ticks of your locks;
Only a part can be ours,
Whole is for the fools.
You went out for a walk late in the night;
Each step you took towards that house was a step away from you;
You numbed that silly mind of yours;
My brave soul, not even heroes fought like that.
You stayed under bed when screams became synonym of laughters;
You suffocated yourself in darkness,
Because you thought there was no light in tomorrow;
You greeted and homed what was never yours.
In the trash, your best;
In their eyes, your worst;
Where will you run and hide?
They let you breathe not live.
Invisible thorns in your hallucinating flowers;
Your facades, your friends,
The ocean that was never pure,
And the sky you cannot touch;
The breezes you couldn't catch
Whispered a story of hope;
You my fragile heart,
Are stronger if you beared it all.
You laid awake in the dead of the night,
Not a star to be seen and when all clouds shied away;
Your thoughts jiggling with your dreams,
There are no evils in tomorrow if you believe.
When you turned back to go home clean,
With a smile in your eyes and hope in your feets;
Arrogant wall stood dancing with thorns,
Was this all meant to be?
Your parents screams,
Safeguarding your future dreams;
For too long have been living in disguise,
Will the time ever be right?
