chosen pains
I took them,
Your pains;
Every ounce of them,
Along with my blues;
Those winter lands and dead stars,
Majestic monsters to keep you around:
I took them,
Your hurt;
Every breath of it,
Along with my thorns;
My dieing hope and drowning mind,
Fading smiles to keep you safe:
But if I ask you,
To take it back,
Will you?
Or will you push me off the cliff,
Run away to the other side,
To other moon:
But now,
I'm running out of space,
I can explode any moment;
Another second,
And I'll be the air:
Little specks tyndallising in your room,
Patiently lying on your desk;
Waiting for you,
To wash me off again.
Your pains;
Every ounce of them,
Along with my blues;
Those winter lands and dead stars,
Majestic monsters to keep you around:
I took them,
Your hurt;
Every breath of it,
Along with my thorns;
My dieing hope and drowning mind,
Fading smiles to keep you safe:
But if I ask you,
To take it back,
Will you?
Or will you push me off the cliff,
Run away to the other side,
To other moon:
But now,
I'm running out of space,
I can explode any moment;
Another second,
And I'll be the air:
Little specks tyndallising in your room,
Patiently lying on your desk;
Waiting for you,
To wash me off again.
