darkness is sleeping

There's something dark inside me

and I am always hoping it's asleep

So I can stay in autumn sun a little more

while winter sweeps under my eyes

Tolerate the reality for the sake of sanity

while the water bridges over to less the drowning

Warm cooked food and cozy nights

Enrapture the time, while I still have time
